Slathaai have an immortal life, and some of them are capable of laying one and only one brood of eggs. Slathaai born directly from the eggs are eternally linked to those who conceived them and have always shown abilities far superior to Slathaai born by parasite grafting.
Oslag is the son of Ilthus, and from his father he inherited the great skills of Animancy. Oslag always had a great passion for Zeeks and was one of the first Slathaai to try to graft one, finding that these arthropod creatures were easily tamed because of their hive brains. Spending so much time raising these dangerous creatures, Oslag dexterity and strength are exceptional among Slathaai, making him a legendary warrior.
